We started working in Lusaka, Zambia on Feb 2020. There were many orphan children living under the bridge in Lusaka. During the Covid crisis it became very difficult for the children to find daily food and supplies. This is where our story begins.

We were able to set up a small team that would travel to the bridge every day, feed the children and provide whatever supplies we could. 

On the very first day there were over 70 children looking for lunch. However, our team only had one tiny pot, a bag of charcoal, and a 50kg bag of rice. Very quickly the number of children grew and grew, yet, we can say the Lord provided. 

From that day we have a weekly feeding program, wash and shower facilities built just for the children, a home (HOPE House) for the street girls and recently opened our first school for them. 

Hope Mission Zambia is now a registered NGO in accordance with Zambian charity registration. RNGO 101/1434/2021
